I am an East Tennessee writer, storyteller, mother, grandmother, and a woman who learned that some of the best stories don't begin with a plan. They begin somewhere along the winding road between where you thought you were going and where life actually takes you.
I write about real life - the beautiful parts, the broken parts, faith, family, work, relationships, recovery, ordinary people, and the moments most of us almost overlook.
Before Sunrise became my first published book, but Aundrea Unwritten was created for something bigger than one book.
It's a place for all the stories still waiting to be told.
For a long time, I thought our stories were defined by what had already happened - the choices made, the roads taken, the things lost, the things survived, ad the hcpaters we might wish had been written differently.
But life keeps handing us blank pages.
Unwritten is the reminder that no matter how much of the story is already behind us, the ending hasn't been written yet.
There are still roads I haven't traveled, people I haven't met, stories I haven't told, and chapters I don't even know are coming.
So this isn't jsut a place for the books I've written.
It's a place for everything that is still unwritten.
A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME
I am an East Tennessee girl at heart. Give me a winding back road, an open hayfield, a waterfall tucked somewhere off the beaten path, or a sunrise worth pulling over for, and I am probably going to be happy. Or at least smile.
Family has given me some of my greatest stories, my hardest lessons, and more than a few reasons to laugh at things that probably weren't funny when they happened.
Faith is woven through my life and my writing - not becasue i have always had all the answers, but becasue I have spent a lifetime asking questions.
i believe ordinary people carry extraordinary stories. Sometimes all it takes is someoen willing to notice them.
And apparently, somewhere along the way, I became that someone with a pen.
Before Sunrise was my first book to make it onto the page, but it wont be my last.
There are more stories waiting - some already taking shape, others still somewhere around the bend.
I don't know exactly where every road will lead from here.
But that's the beauty of what's still unwritten.
